St Joseph's Catholic Primary School

Our children experience a wide variety of learning opportunities.

We aim to make learning fun in all areas of the curriculum. We love to investigate in science, taking part in mini beast hunts, testing materials and much, much more. In topic we learn all about the world around us, past and present, we enjoy acting, painting, building and writing all about the things we have learnt. Maths is inspiring, we learn to solve problems by using lots of different equipment to help us so that we can then challenge ourselves to complete really tricky work. In literacy, we read lots of stories and we love to write creatively. We take pride in making our writing as neat as can be and we always try to do our best and improve each day. Our class are also lucky enough to enjoy visits from lots of interesting people, from Members of Parliament, Parish Councillors, nurses, firemen to dancers and many more. It is great to take part in a variety of activity days. Our parents even get to join us at school for school lunches and each term we hold INSPIRE WORKSHOPS, where our parents come into the classroom and learn with us. Life at St. Joseph's is so much fun, but we also work really hard to be the best that we can be.

We take pride in our work and love to showcase our talents, making our classroom and school look fabulous with our colorful displays.
